ABOUT US

The Town Line Volunteer Fire Department is a 100% volunteer fire department made up of dedicated men and woman from all walks of life. Our firefighters go through extensive ongoing training giving them the confidence and capability to perform as professional first responders to residents and visitors of our community.

Founded in 1921 and incorporated in 1924, The Town Line Volunteer Fire Department is a 501c3 New York State Not for Profit Corporation contracting with the towns of Lancaster and Alden. Our first alarm district covers 22 square miles, 7,700 residents and a large amount of business and industry. We also part of the mutual aid plan throughout Lancaster and Alden as well as a part of the master mutual aid plan for Erie County.

We are ready to respond day or night to the over 950 calls we receive each year including structure fires, emergency medical needs, motor vehicle accidents, hazardous materials incidents, alarm activations, downed power lines, and countless other emergencies. When you need us, we will be there.

The timely delivery of these services enables the Town Line Volunteer Fire Department to make significant contributions to the safety of our community and the wellness of our neighbors.
